Murdock Elementary School

Dear Murdock Families,

 

It is my pleasure to welcome everyone to Murdock Elementary School.  Whether you are a returning family, or new to the district, we are excited to have as a part of the Mallard family. We are excited to see the students return for their first day of school on Thursday, August 10, 2024.

 

We have had construction going on all summer to make necessary improvements to our kitchen and cafeteria. Unfortunately, the construction is not quite finished so we will continue to serve our meals outside for about the first two weeks of school.

 

Our teachers are excited and have already put in a lot of work in their classrooms and preparing for the 2023-2024 school year. We have amazing teachers who spend hours planning and creating classroom activities to engage our students in learning. We have three teachers from WIS joining our awesome Murdock staff.

 

The Aeries Portal is now open. Please log on to  https://willowsusd.aeries.net/student/LoginParent.aspx  Once you have updated your students' information in the Aeries Portal, you will be able to view your student’s teacher assignment.

 

We will also be moving away from this parent communication platform and going with Parent Square in the near future.

 

I am honored to serve as the Principal of Murdock Elementary School. It is truly a privilege to be a part of a community where parents, teachers, and students work together to build positive relationships that support academic and social growth. Please make plans to attend our Back to School Night scheduled for Wednesday August 10, 2022 at 5:30 PM. More information on this in a separate communication.

Estimadas familias de Murdock,

Es un placer darles la bienvenida a todos a la Escuela Primaria Murdock. Si usted es una familia que regresa o es nuevo en el distrito, nos complace tenerlos como parte de la familia Mallard. Estamos emocionados de ver a los estudiantes regresar para su primer día de clases el jueves 10 de agosto de 2024.

Tuvimos obras en marcha durante todo el verano para hacer las mejoras necesarias en nuestra cocina y cafetería. Desafortunadamente, la construcción no está del todo terminada, por lo que continuaremos sirviendo nuestras comidas afuera durante las primeras dos semanas de clases.

Nuestros maestros están entusiasmados y ya han trabajado mucho en sus aulas y se están preparando para el año escolar 2023-2024. Tenemos maestros increíbles que dedican horas a planificar y crear actividades en el aula para involucrar a nuestros estudiantes en el aprendizaje. Tenemos tres maestros de WIS que se unen a nuestro increíble personal de Murdock.

Me siento honrado de servir como Director de la Escuela Primaria Murdock.
